From trees in the genus Eucalyptus we get an extraordinary variety of materials useful to floral designers. Foliage from the same tree may vary with the tree's maturity, from round and flat to long and willowy. Among the familiar types are horizontal, stem-clasping leaves of 'Baby Blue', the immature flower buds of "seeded" eucalyptus, and the textured pods of 'Silverbell'. Native to Austrailia, eucalyptus species are generally gray or blue-green and often bear a distinctive fragrance of menthol
